I haave a 71 chevelle w/ a 350 and a long water pump which is a aluminum edlebrock victor. I tried to order the original style bracket from NPD but they don'thve it cause GM doesn't make it any more. So I ordered a $100 march performance bracket kit and the bracket won't bolt to the water pump because the way the water pump is made. It is the right kit for my car but probably for a stock water pump. Has any one else had this problem? What can I do? I need to drive asap it's my only car.

Which bracket? The pump bracket or the one on the block that the pump attaches to? A/C car? The one on the block is different.

The car has A/C but it's the bracket between the ps pump and the water pump.

Sounds like you want the lower bracket on the pump. There is that one and the “L” shaped adjustment bracket. Check out Richard’s LVMAXX’s pictures in this thread.
The lower stock brackets shouldn’t be that hard to find. They were used in the 69-72 Chevelles and probably a lot of other cars. I’ve got one on a pump but I think the pulley needs to come off the pump to get it off. Maybe I’m wrong.

I tried to take my old one off yesterday and I think the pully must come off. Do you know where I can get the bracket? I tried national parts depot they said gm doesn't make it anymore.

I looked at one place but saw it was discontinued. Maybe someone else has another source.
I've got a pump with the brackets I can send you. The price won't be that bad. This has the 2-groove pulley for the A/C set-up. I don't have much time to take things apart lately. Send me an email if you are interested.
