I,ve got a couple of touch up ares, rock chips and a small area on the door I need to touch up. Haven't done much if any car painting and am looking for advise. I went to the local auto paint specialist and had him match the paint and have a pint plus had him mke a rattle can. My question is on the spots I want to spray, i assume I need to sand(600) the edges down smooth,prime, sand,prime and apply a couple layers of the color. Should I dry sand, wet sand, etc. Any tips I should know? Is there a good way to blend it into the pnted surfces round the damaged area? Thanks :confused:
