Hey guys, i am getting together the final pieces for my 427 bbc and want to run the wires under the headers. I will be using the dynomax 1 3/4 headers so i should have space. What wire looms have you guys used to run them underneath? Any input is appreciated and pictures and specifics would be a huge help. Thanks guys.

I asked this question a couple of weeks ago about a 355 and got no definitive answers. Maybe you'll have better luck. I was thinking about making some looms from a piece of Camaro rocker panel mounlding and some HDPE (high density polyethylene?).

On the race car with 180 degree headers, we used zip ties. One around all the wires, then one small one between each pair of wires around the big zip tie every so often, or where a wire needed to break out. We were able to hold them under the headers in a kind of flat arrangement.
I hope that kinda make sense, if not I'll see about making a picture.

I also use the wire tie method its pretty easy and cheaper than buying expensive looms you cant see, I highly reccomend using high temp sleeves on the wires that are really close to the header, I used a combo of two sets of msd wires from a 307 truck (they were the longest sets) be prepared to spend some time doing it I spent about two hours routing them right, there are pics in my showroom or I can email you some if you want
