I'm looking at buying a '69 2 door Chevelle Malibu. It has a 350 engine, a 350 turbo tranny and A/C. It does have power sterring, buckets, carpet but no power brakes. I'd like to know how much would this car weigh?

Malibu 2 door Sport Coupe - V8 Curb Wt. 3335 lbs. Air Cond adds aprox 93 lbs. Turbo 350 auto trans adds aprox 24 lbs so round off to about 3450 lbs. graemlins/thumbsup.gif

Wow...is there anything else I can throw in here to get an even better estimate? I know I should have it weighed on a scale but just looking for a ball park figure.

Now all I need to do is figure out how much horse/torque it will take to push it down the quartermile atleast 12 seconds. Then I gotta figure out how much that will cost plus the cost of the car. Thanx.

Well, my 69 is outfitted pretty much exactly as you describe yours. It scaled 3920 with a 230lb driver and 3/4 tank of gas, so probably about 3650 with no driver and dry.

At the dump scales my sbc 327, th350, 10 bolt rear with 1/3 tank of gas and some tools weighed 3460.
