has anyone tried the repo bumpers for a 70 ss

I have and I'm pretty happy with it. I bought a rear bumper and SS pad. I paid $169 for the bumper made by Dynacorn, who makes repros for a lot of the parts suppliers including our sponsor Ground Up. Not show chrome but neither is my car. Since the pad covers 1/2 the chrome I thought it would be OK, which it is.

I bought the "molded" rear pad from Ground Up and was pretty happy with it.

I was just at the Charlotte Autofair today and bought both bumpers for my 67.I compared the repo bumpers to the bumpers at Tricity from Tenn and Bumperboyz.I was amazed at the difference between them.The price for the repo was 199 and the rechromed from Tricity was 225 with exchange and BB was 235 with exchange.The rechrome from Tricity was absolutely flawless and they are great at getting them straight.Bb was ok.I never asked what the warranty was an the repo's but I did ask Tricity and Bumperboyz.Bumperboyz had a 2 year warranty but Tricity warrantied it for as long as you own the car.My money went to Tricity and they are beautiful.
