I noticed something today I hadn't payed any attention to before. The right side of my car is higher than the left. Several years ago I slid off the road (dirt) going around a left hand curve doing 15 - 20 mph. The nose of my car went up a bank. The rear wheels were not making good contact will the ground and the right rear quarter was push down at the base of the rear window sail area on the right side, kinda like the rear had been lifted up on that side. The back bumper of the car was sitting on the ground. Well to make it short I measured the frame height at the rear by the fuel tank and the right side is 1" higher than the left. The top of the rear wheel opening is 1" higher on the right more than the left. I guess a frame machine can fix this. How much to you think it will cost and how much work is involved? Just looking at it bugs me.

Thanks, David.

Dave, how do the doors, fenders, and decklid line up? The best way to rough measure a frame at home is to get it on a known level surface and support it at the torque boxes at equal heights then measure front and rear rails and compare side to side. Your problem may be suspension related if all the sheetmetal is good alignmentwise. from your description it sounds like the right rear rail is up. A good frame guy should be able to pull it down for 4-6hr.s labor or you could anchor the rear and front torque box area and jack up in the r rear torque box area and get it yourself. Good measuring is the key to diagnosing the problems and knowing when the pulling is done.

Thanks for the info. The door and panel lines are fine.
