: Chrome Plating Shops
ss3964spd Jan 4th, 03, 9:42 AM Ok, I have removed and am finally going to have the rear bumper and guards from my 66 Impala replated. I've received a very strong recomendation for a shop in Tennessee but have since received another for a shop in Pa called Librandi's Plating. Has anyone heard of or dealt with them? Recomendations?
Regards, Dan

COL Eikmeier Jan 5th, 03, 4:36 PM Dan,
I keep checking to see if any one has any recommendations for you. I'm also interested hearing some feedback. Some one must have used the shops you mentioned or those listed in Hemmings Motor News.
Come on guys, hasn't any one have some recommendations?

BK72SS Jan 6th, 03, 4:13 AM I seccond Tri-City I have seen their work and it is show quality the chrome looks so bright and flawless also I think they have a life time warranty on their work you can't beat that.
ss3964spd Jan 6th, 03, 10:16 AM Thanks Dale, Mr. Peters, and SS (name?). I've asked this question of someone a number of months ago and received a strong recomendation for Tri City. Because I'm fairly new at this plating thing, and because I hate poor workmanship and getting screwed, I just want to make sure I go with the best possible service.
Thanks everyone......
Dan

Bill Pritchard Jan 6th, 03, 10:56 AM Dan,
Sorry, I can only tell you a place where you should NOT go, and that's in the Chicago area, where it's unlikely you would go anyway. Good luck.

ss3964spd Jan 6th, 03, 7:35 PM Bill, knowing where NOT to go is perhaps more important than knowing where to go!
Thanks....
Dan
