I assume you have the engine out and front clip off. That being said, unbolt the 8 body bolts. 2 on very front of the firewall, 2 right before the 1/4 opening, 2 right after the 1/4 opening and 2 on the very back. By 2 I mean one per side. Next either get cha as many strong backed and weak minded buddies that you can find and pick her up (easier if you can take as much off the car as you can) or use 2 chain hoists that support either end of the body. One should be connected to a chain that goes to the front 2 body mounts and another chain that goes from the second hoist to the back 2 body mounts. I've even heard of picking it up by the rood with an engine hoist but would not recommend it as you can bow the roof line. Easiest method is gut it and pick it up by hand. Make sure all lines and linkage is disconnected so you don't get snagged and thats about all thats to it.

Hopefully others will chime in as well.

It's called the Holeshot Boogie. You pull a holeshot and boogie on down the track.

Drive it like you stole it everytime, for tomorrow may never come.

And on the 7th day god said let there be an engine who's legendary brute force will never be matched, and loe the Chevrolet big block was born.

It's amazing, after all this time she still runs.
