I am ready for the final stage of paint process.....buff and polish. Butternut Yellow, BC/CC, color sanded with 2000. What would be the best compound and polish, and with what pads would you all recommend? Paint will be about 2 weeks old when I do it.

I'd use Sure Finish with a wool pad for initial cutting, and then switch to a foam pad for final polishing. Check out autobodystore.com for more info.

If this is your first time remember to buff off of an edge and not into it. Also, you may want to get some 1/4 masking tape and tape off your sharpe edges so you don't burn through.
