Can this tape be restored? don't want to replace door panels as this is the only thing wrong -tape is peeling on top "chrome" piece on passenger side and lower "chrome" tape on driver side. My Build Sheet is pasted to the inside of the pass side and I would like to keep it in tact.

I bought an interior kit from a company which I won't mention because of the "supplier bashing" rule on this site. I've yet to install them. I've had them for about 5 years now & the "chrome" on the door panels is about, ok how do I say it, trashed. The door panels havn't even experienced sun, weather, heat, etc.,. I hate to see what they will look like in another 5 or so years. I paid a lot of money for the kit and I'mm not confident of the supplier's product quality. E-mail if you want to know who the company is.
