Is anyone supplying replacement or aftermarket speakers that fit in the original locations under the dash? My originals are long gone, and I had put in a set of 4" round ones about 15 yrs.ago.They are all cracked and dried out and sound like crap.I would only be using the stock am/fm radio,no high powered blaster.Any suggestions appreciated. try custom autosound or NPD - but I think that most of the catologs should have something.

I have an inexpensive set from OPG in my 72. Speakers are mounted on a sheetmetal bracket that does screw into the stock mounting loaction. I don't have air so no clearence problems.

John, Do you know if the speakers you bought were 8 ohm ? I read somewhere( probably on this site) that it was not good for the radio to use the wrong impedance speakers.I looked at OPG's website and found the speakers you were talking about ,but there was no mention of what ohms they were rated at.Any clarification you could give me would be appreciated. Thanks, Don

Are these speakers installed in SS dashes with the ampgauge? I am in the process of trying to put speakers in now, I bought a pair of 4" Pioneer speakers, but the magnet is too big, and hits the back of my circuit board on the gauge cluster. Does anyone know if the ones in the catalog will fit without doing this? Thanks
