Could anyone tell me if the black paint on the inside of the 68 SS emblems was flat or gloss black ? Thanks Lew

Since you didn't refer to which emblem this is what I have on my car (68 SS)
Grill/rear emblem : Semigloss around the perimeters of letters and numbers.
Side markers (396) : flat black around 396 and gloss black stripe around bezel.
Side markers (SS396) : flat black around SS, gloss black stripe around bezel. Hope this helps.
