: I'm looking for the correct chrome valve covers for a LS-6
450HPChevelle Jul 27th, 02, 4:28 PM Does anybody know if anyone is producing the chrome valve covers for a LS-6? I looked in last years Year One catalog but they didn't
have anything listed for the LS-6. Thanks Brian. http://www.chevelles.com/forum/smile.gif

phocksphyre Jul 27th, 02, 9:38 PM Saw a set at Canfiels a couple of weeks ago. Of course, they were way rusty and dinged up. I knew thet were really from an LS6 tho, cuz they both had only one opening and both had Team Tonawanda stickers. Them 2 stickers is worth an extra 38 horses! http://www.chevelles.com/forum/biggrin.gif

Jeff74 Jul 28th, 02, 9:47 PM nice picture at bottom of cranes page. trans dapt covers look good but they don't have holders for temp sender wire.
BACKN 68 Jul 28th, 02, 11:39 PM Just as an FYI. The covers that YEARONE sells (expensive ones) are from Crane's Corvette in San Diego, CA. They are cheaper through YEARONE than trying to buy them direct through Crane's. Nice valve covers !!! And they will fit much better than both types I tried from Ground Up. But they cost at least 3 times as much, too.

2BlueLS6's Aug 4th, 02, 11:28 PM I got a set for Aulsey's that was a complete kit with silver gaskets, reinforcements and TR bolts for about a hun. The quality was pretty good by comparison of some of the other stuff I've seen. Dave Crane is a little full of himself for my taste and his valve covers and smog stuff is in the stratosphere price wise in my opinion.
