I have what I believe to be the orig.rear bumper for my '69 SS. I replaced it because the chrome was real "milky" looking. On the backside, just above the license plate area is a tag that is fastened to the bumper. On it is: 8E 7718. Date code of some sort or a chrome shop job tag or what?
