Can someone tell me the size and location of the hole for mounting the antenna for a '67 SS.

If I remember correctly, am/fm all came with the front fender mount, and the rear fender mount was an option U73, for 1966-69. from 70 on they were windshield mounted.

Is it a rear fender mount? If so let me know and I will go out and measure it.

I remember reading that the rear fender mount antenna was not available on any car equiped with am/fm radio. Something about the antenna not being good enough for the FM to get proper reception. It was available as an option for AM-only cars.

Correct. A rear mount antenna (U73) was not available on wagons OR when am/fm radio was ordered.

Oh no, you mean I spent all that money on a AM/FM and it will be obvious that it didn't come with the car. Crap!

And I have a BEAUTIFUL radio delete plate and I can't use that either, for an even more obvious reason. Double Crap.

I have 2 templates for the rear mount antenna if you need a copy. One I made off of the original one on my car and the other is a GM template that came with the NOS rear mount antenna a bought.
