The cowl induction breather base on my 1970 chevelle looks like an original GM piece but not for my model car. The snorkel points inbetween the #3/#5 pistons. Most of the pictures I see have the snorkel pointing inbetween the #2/#4 pistons.
I can't spin my breather base around because I need the distributor notch to stay by the distributor.

Camaro? Interesting. I would love to find a pic of a factory chevy will a snorkel pointing towards the drivers side fender. What was GM thinking?
Anyway, thanks. The hard part now is finding a OEM cowl induction base that is correct for my car. Anyone got a detailed picture of the correct CI breather setup? I seen many of the repo's but they don't look the same to me.

I just listed a complete Cowl induction set up without the hood on our for Sale Classifieds.It is 32 years old GM.I took it off of a 1970 SS Chevelle n 1984.
It would look great on a Survivor.All the details are real,not Repro.
