'69 Chevelle (BB)

Lots of results on search about rebuilding steering box and trying to locate correct pump. Advance Auto carries CARDONE rebuilds of power box ($133.00) (2.5-3 turns lock to lock ratio) and pump with reservoir ($42.00).

1.) Has anyone had any experience with these? My guess is they will work if you can fit them, so do they fit?

2.) Lots of comments about "quick ratio conversions". How much quicker would you want than 3 turns lock to lock? Is there something different out there?

Haven't tried that brand. I have installed a NAPA rebuilt pump on my Vette. Fit perfect. NAPA also lists the parts for the '69 BB. That's probably where I'd go if mine failed.
