: Hotel for Chevellabration 2003

I am in the Military stationed in Germany, it has been a goal of mine to attend Chevellabration in Nashville TN. For years my schedule has not allowed me to get away. This year it looks like luck has smiled on me.

Can anyone give me some information on a hotel? I've tried the Nashville Hotels, but I guess Fan Fair is going on during the same time period.

Thanks for the help....

Actually, I think that Chuck said that Fanfare was to be the week before and if you don't find a hotel, just be patient.

Yea Fan Fair is the week prior, seems some people want to spend a little extra time in Nashville. I'm thinking of that myself if anyone has any suggestions.

I will have my wife and 2 teenage daughters with me, I'd like to keep them busy somewhere else, that way I don't have them rushing me at the show.

I am stationed in Stuttgart Germany, I've been here for 2 1/2 years.

I located an old Chevelle World which list the Hampton Inn in Goodlettsville, is that still a good place to stay?

rpm (or whatever your name is),
Chevellabration is actually held in Goodletsville (just north of Nashville). Here are several of the motels in the immediate area:
Guest House (formerly Shoneys)-615-851-1067
Hampton Inn 615-851-2828
(the 2 above are back to back to each other-where most try to stay)
Baymont Suites 615-851-1891
Comfort Suits 615-448-2100
Motel 6 615-859-9674
Red Roof Inn 615-859-2537
Super 8 615-859-2861
Holiday Inn Express 615-851-6600

These are all within very short driving distance from Moss-Wright park (nothing is within walking distance).
Hope this helps.

Yes Hampton Inn is a good place, several of the TC members will be there
I's a little higher priced than The Guest House (formerly Shoney's Inn )though

IIRC, Hampton is full at this time, you'll have to try one of the others.

Tom Parsons(DZ AUTO) could possibly help you on things to do for the women.

The Guest House "should" be one of the host hotels again this year if Good Ol' Chuck ever gets that going, but the guys who did my reservation went ahead and gave me the same price as last years CB. HE would not guarantee the rate, but assumed also that they would work something out at a later date. It will also be "The place" for the parking lot gatherings! http://www.chevelles.com/forum/wink.gif

"...two teenage daughters..." someone better keep a good eye on Beaux and BB-Mikey!

Hope to see you there!

Thanks everyone for the help. I'm trying to make my reservations this week.

I'm looking for a Project 66 Chevelle while I am at the show, so if you plan on bringing one, drop me a line and some photo's. ( Not looking for a all original car) Just moving back in May 2003 to Ft Bragg, NC, can't wait to start turning wrenches!

Thanks again..........
