Hi people,have a question again.I have a speed demon carb,650,,has 2 electrical clips on electric choke,where is best place to get hot and ground for this carb.I have a hei ditributor,its a new ho 350 engine.

This is pretty simple....a 12V source must be connected to the (+) choke terminal. Run a wire from your fuse block at a port marked IGN. Verify that the spot on the fuseblock is HOT only when the ignition key is in the "on" position. Then run a ground wire to anywhere on the engine from the (-)choke terminal. You can use one of your carb mounting studs/bolts to make a ground. Good Luck!

On my Holley, the ground wire is only about 2 to 3 inches long so I mounted it to one of the screws on the side of the carb (mounting screw for a bracket. It will ground through the carb body via washers & nuts (or bolts). Just in case your wire is short like mine was. Good Luck & enjoy your Demon. Odie
