How do I hook the throttle and kickdown cables to our 454 engine swap? We have a holley 3310-1 780 vac sec carb, the throttle cable is for BB, the kickdown is for a TH350. Any close up shots of this?

I have a small block, but the hookup should be the same, right?

Guys ,I found a neat little chrome bracket at autozone for less than 15.00 .It gives it a kinda custom look.It holds the kick down cable, accelerator cable,and the return spring.I forget the manufacturers name but gimme a holler I'll snap a pic and send it. If you want one I'll go and find out the specifics. Mark

The throttle cable bracket for Chevelles mounts on the carb. There are two available through Year One, etc...one for QJet, one for Holley. Doesn't matter if you are running a BB or SB. Big blocks never came with TH350s, though, so you may have to fabricate something for the kickdown cable, or else find a nice aftermarket universal bracket like Mark mentions above.

That bracket you are talking about is made by specter. My mechanic sold us that bracket, I mounted it to the carb and figured out how to attach the throttle cable, but the kickdown cable would not reach. It seems like the cable is to short. Does anyone know how to solve the short cable problem?

Mark if it is not too much trouble, a close up of the carb linkage set-up would be very helpful.
