I was wondering if anyone had a good resource for reading spark plugs?

My plugs were looking a little on the white side, so I leaned it up, and got a nice tan shade like I was used to. Lately, they seem to be turning from tan to yellowish tan, with small chips out of the insulator. Pre-ignition?

Thanks!

I am not an expert but have found if a plug looks like it is brand new then you are right. Chipping is not is good sign. Fix the problem before something bad happens.
