Hey guys, i am converting my car to bucket seats when it previously had a bench. I need to drill some more holes in the floor and figure out a way to get the tracks to sit level with the rest of the car. I have seen brackets out there that will level off the seats properly, but i was wondering if you guys have done anything different, or if i should go with the brakets. Thanks a lot.

I did the same conversion on my '68. Use the brackets and weld them to the floor. It is extremely easy to do and it works well.

There is a good thread on this in the "engine drivetrain" area, one of the members has information about converting to buckets that was real good. I ordered the brackets for my 67 and I know that welding will be required.

I didnt even know they had different holes! I was going to put a bench seat in the car that I'm doing until, I redid the buckets maybe not now.

I used the brackets!! They only cost about twenty five bucks and they work like butter!! Do yourself a favor and use the brackets man!!
