I have a chevelle with a newer engine. I believe it is a 350 built before 1975. I believe it was built before 1975 because it dose not have elctroic ignition. The only number I can find on the block is v0902tzt. Can you tell me what year it could be and anything else about this block? Thanks

Chris, go to www.mortec.com they have a complete listings of all the engine and head numbers BB an SB L89SEDAN

v0902tzt is a 1978 350 out of a truck! All truck engines will have a T or a A in the first letter of the 3 digit suffix. Passenger cars C or Z.

V=Flint Engine
09=October
02=day
TZT=1978 TRuck 350/165hp, manual trans,4BC series 10, 20 2X4 and 4X4
