I've been using Amsoil for ever. If BGH is lurking around here he can explain all the stuff about the additives for the posi unit. It's been working in my 12 bolt for 10 years. graemlins/thumbsup.gif graemlins/thumbsup.gif

I use Amsoil 75W90 Series 2000 in all of the posi rear ends that I build. This is a synthetic oil with the additive already in it. I have had no problems with it in the many rear ends that I have built. If you want a conventional oil you can use any 80W90 with the GM or Ford additive. The GM additive is #1052358 and the Ford additive is #M-19546. It shoupld take about 2 quarts of oil. Put the additive in the first bottle of oil before you put it in.

OK then its 2 qts of AMSIOL 75W90 ,and that should
fill my rear end and and i would not have to add anything to it .cool, I went to their web site and it looks like thats stuff is worth trying graemlins/thumbsup.gif

just make sure it's the series 2000 Amsoil- the "cheap" Amsoil doesn't have the posi additive in it.
