Hey whats up guys I finally found a chevelle webpage online, and it only took about a month. I am currently restoring a 68 chevelle malibu and I installed a warmed over big block and a th400. I got the tranny from an early 70's el camino along with the driveshaft. I tried to install it in my 68 today and it seems to be a little long. Did I do something wrong or is this driveshaft too long? What can i do besides shortening it? thanks in advance

Shorten the shaft. The TH400 has a longer tailshaft than a TH350.

Did you see that transmission and driveshaft installed in the El Camino?

It should be the same length for both vehicles.

Your only options are to shorten the shaft or find one the correct length.
