I have a 69 Chevelle I am looking into swaping out my tired th-350 to a 6 speed manual! I was wondering if there are any kits offered out there and if not can I use an early model clutch plate and bellhousing, and does any one offer a hydraulic clutch? I am heading to Iraq soon so I will have planty of money saved up to do this swap and add a 9" rear. if there is any one out there that has done this swap I would like to know how easy it went for them.

Hi Im in the process of doing this right now. Check out Weir Hot Rod products for a bellhousing that will allow you to use a trans out of a camaro. Also check out kiesler automotive they have complete kits but they are over $4000. Good Luck with your car and come home in one piece.
