i am gonna take off my rearend cover and it is in the car, my problem is the fluid is gonna come out, but when i put the cover back where do i fill the fluid at?

Usually, it is on the passenger side 3"-4" in front of the axle tube. If it is caked with gunk you might not see it at first.

If you have a posi rear make sure you get 2 bottles of the GM Posi additive from any GM parts counter and add it when you refill the rear.

Is 80-90 what you should run? Will the friction modifier additive that you buy at the parts stores work ok or do you definitely need the GM stuff?

Now, if the car isn't posi, can you still add the posi oil, or is that worthless?

I've heard it's the best to use regardless.
