im thinking about rebuilding my tranny 69 POWERGLIDE, i want the transpak crap in it, and i was thinking about the shift points, What do the shift points do, it says i cant change it, wut does this do?? help, any tips

Due to the design of the governor in a Glide, they are a pain to modify for upping the shift point. Most of the time guys just go to a full manual setup for decent performance, especially due to the wide jump from 1st to 2nd.

I just shift mine by hand (on the column :eek: ) when I want to wind 'er up... but the 307 doesn't have far to wind, it starts missing at about 4900 :D
