Its from the tranny linkage to the carb linkage but whatever goes in between is gone. PG uses a rod from the carb to tranny for down shifting. I think there is also some related hardware bolted to the frame that should probably be in your picture but isn't. Not too sure as the only experiance I have with it is pulling all that stuff out to put in a 5 speed. I think it may be some sort of linkage bracket for cars with manual tranmission? Do they all have this so at the factory a manual or auto can be installed by whatever was ordered by the dealer?
