I've noticed that Posi units are selling for over $400 in the Summit and Jeg's. While Gears R Us in California sell Eaton Posi's for $309 that will fit my 66 10 bolt 8.2 gear. I know U get what U pay for so let's hear some input. Thanks guys!

I don't know why Summit has them so high, but I'm glad they do. It makes it easier for us "little guys" to sell them. The one you get for $309 or $290 is the same one that Summit has for $400.

Take a look on Ebay. At any given time you can find auctions that www.GearsRUs.com (http://www.GearsRUs.com) puts up there. Its the same stuff they would sell you over the phone but with the buy-it-now option you can save youself a few bucks. Thats the way I did It and my Eaton posi has been wonderful. Good Luck.

Eaton units are good, and thats also what the factory used alot of when new...
The Eaton is rebuildable, while some like the Auburn are not (cone type)...
I agree with the above, the Eatons that Summit sells are the same as the ones the smaller guys sell...
