i'm rebuilding an m-22 everything was going well. I put an iron midplate also when i spun the gaears it was nice and smooth until i tried it with the reverse gear in it bacame very tight spinning it all the thrust washers are in properly i sounds like a clearence problem with the reversre gear and reverse idler gears but how do i check it and fix it? is this a common problem?

found the proplem just so you guys know the hole in the iron mid plate for the reverse idler gear was not lined up with the case had to radius it ever so slightly towards the outside of the case then it worked fine :cool:
