HeY, I am going to be doing a tranny swap in my 84 cutlass supreme, Not a chevelle I know but at least a GM and a daily driver while i restore my chevelle.
Right now the Cutlass has a th250 metric trans in it, I would like to swap in a 200-r4 And need some one to let me know what I need to do to acomplish this, Will I have to move the cross member or drill new holes in the frame for it?
Can my drive shaft be used?
What other parts do I need to complete the swap?
And to set the TV cable, Do I just open the carb to full throttle and have the TV cable fully out with the throttle?

Any help I could get on this would be much appreciated.

By the way the engine is a buick 231 v6

If your trans crossmember is staight, get one out of an 85-88 monte carlo SS, it will make the 200r4 a bolt in. Driveshaft should work fine.
