Ive been doing some searching, and Ive found a few guys on here running the t56, mostly with a 25-27" tire... is anyone running one with a 30-32" tire? and if so , what engine/ R+P?
with an RPM calc, i figured my mild (10.2:1) 454 will rev at 1750rpm @ 70 MPH with a 4.88 R+P
the tires that I am running on the rear are 305-50-20's (32" diameter)
I have not yet purchased my R+P, so I wanted to hear from some 6 spd guys before dropping 2 or 300$ on the wrong gearset.
Any suggestions or stories greatly appreciated.
