I've finally decided on a motor for my malibu, and i'm going to order the parts this week. My question is what ratio should i go with 1.5 or1.6? Also what is a good brand? I was thinking of going with the harland sharp rollers, or the crane rollers, i want to stay at $200 or less.

All the top brands are good. Unless you have some reason to run 1.6 rockers, the 1.5 are just fine and do not require any head mods as the 1.6 do.

I'd go with 1.5. And both of those are good ones. But I would be sure and use guide plates with rollers. Do you have screw in studs?
