The thread title itself tells the story. When I got my 70, which was originally a column shift car, it had been converted to a floor shifter. (still a TH350 trans.) For some reason, when it was converted, the previous owner decided to yank the piece that bolts to the frame that holds the other end of the linkage by the transmission.
My question is this, what is this piece called? How easy/hard are they to find and what would I expect to pay for one? Also, if anyone has a pic of this piece, that would be helpful. I also suspect that the end of the linkage that goes into this frame mounted piece should have a spring of some kind on it. Is this correct?
