: Automatic linkage question

My '71 Chevelle is a factory floorshift car.

I recently removed the linkage that connects the trans. to the column. This linkage is what prevented the trans. from being shifted out of park unless the lock cylinder was unlocked.

My question is...is this the same linkage that auto column shift cars used? I ask because I am going to list this item on ebay and wanted to be specific when I list it.

Also my car is a factory TH350 car...will this same linkage work for TH400's?

Thanks.

Dave;

I have a '69 Chevelle that has been converted to a floor shift automatic with console. The steering column I have also appears to be from a floor shift car. My Chevelle has the TH400 transmission. I would be interested in the linkage providing it would work for a '69 Chevelle. Perhaps I could save you from running the add on ebay. Just let me know. Thanks!
