The condenser in my 65 was 35 years old and still going strong when I removed it and installed Vintage Air. My problem was the evaporator and compressor. As far as the radiator goes, it's a hard one to call and depends on the size and condition of the existing one. Check to see how many cores or "rows" are inside. A three core radiator should do just fine with a clutch fan and shroud.

hi jim not to far from me. i put in a new evaporator new compressor and a new dryer but the condenser is like another 200 bucks if the old one is holding out great i just didnt know really what to do try it or replace it. can you tell me what is the reason for the clutch on the fan the purpose? also how does it compare to the flexlites type??
