I just recently replaced my heater core and notice it still leaked. I checked the hoses and noticed I needed to tight the 5/8 hose more. This helped. I'm still getting some leakage. The heater core has two brackets, the one nearest the fender is broken and missing. This seems to keep the heater core level and tight. I placed a wedge underneath the heater core to keep it level. My question is can this cause leakage? Could the leakage I'm still getting be from wet insulation burning off and drying? Thanks guys for helping solve this aggrevating problem. graemlins/angry.gif
