A guy I know is helping someone redo a 70 chevelle. He says it has AC, but the kick panels at the bottom have vent openings. I am confused, I have a 70 chevelle AC car, but my kick panels are solid. I've never seen a car with AC and kick panels with vents. Is this rare or did they make them????????????

If it's a factory A/C car it will have a block off plate on the drivers side vent opening and the solid kick panel. The passengers side has the recirc valve and kick panel with no vent. El Caminos with factory A/C do have a vent on the drivers side kick panel. It's most likely that the car in question has been altered from the factory configuration.

Ok, so you are saying that both kick panels are solid? That is what I have in my car. Thanks Elree
