what is the best aftermarket ac/heat system to install in a 66 chevelle? :confused:

To get some great information on all types of a/c installations do a search of the subject in the archives of this site. My car originally had factory air, but had too many problems, so I replaced it with a Vintage Air sure fit system. There are some drawbacks to the unit, the main one being that there is no way to control the heater temperature except by turning the fan blower switch on and off. Your feet sweat or freeze. There is only recirculated cabin air in the system because there is no way to allow fresh air into the blower housing. The installation is pretty straightforward and can be done in a weekend. Their tech help is not the best, and their installation instructions require lots of "interpretation." There are other systems out there like airtique, but I haven't heard much about them.
