Does anyone know where I can purchase an evaporator core for the factory air system in my '67 Chevelle?
Thanks,
Dan

Seems like I have seen some auctioned by this company on eBay. They are located up near DFW in Graham. You might give their 800 number a try.

thanks for the tip. I was beginning to think it was one of those unobtainable parts. I'll give them a call.

I wonder if those cases are common to all '64 - '67 A-bodies. Does anyone know?

"I wonder if those cases are common to all '64 - '67 A-bodies. Does anyone know?"

There were two types of A/C systems used from 64 to 67. The first used a STV ( Suction Throttling Valve) 64 & 65. The second used the POA (Pilot Operated Absolute suction throttling valve) 66 & 67. Can't say that all 65's have the STV and all 66's have the POA. The cases are slightly different and the evaporator outlet fitting/tubing is different.
