I'm trying to get some information or find someone who can tell if a complete air conditioning unit from a 67 can be put in a 66 chevelle.

The 67 AC can be put into a 66, and should be almost a perfect fit. You will have to cut the firewall and areas under dash if the 66 didn't have AC originally...

The dash will be different... AC dashes are different from non-AC dashes, and 67 dashes are different from 66 dashes (steering column "notch" bigger in 67 for collapsible column, etc, and the wiper switch moved slightly)... The AC stuff (controls, under dash vents, cables, hoses, firewall box, etc) is pretty much the same, maybe minor differences...
