What would you recommend to use to seal the AC evaporator box to the firewall on my 1970 SS? Im also looking for something to use to seal the two halves of the box together. I was thinking of a black RTV or maybe a weatherstrip adhesive. Anyone have any experience in this?

I used 3M strip caulk. It is black and comes in a box ($10-12.00). Each strip is 1/8 dia. and about 12" long. It does not harden and will seal very well. You will find lots of uses for it. You can get it at any good paint/body shop supplier.

For anyone else with this same question the 3M strip caulk is exactly what you need. A 60 ft supply is about $10. Thanks for the help, Kevin
