Has anyone cut off and rewelded on the hose connection on a Griffin radiator? I'm concerned about hi-temp epoxy they use around the tube to header connection. I called and asked their tech person and his response was "don't get it to hot", I asked how hot was too hot and he couldn't tell me. The guy who is going to do the welding has welded lots of experience with aluminum radiators but he couldn't recall any that had the epoxy. Griffin like many others I've found angle the lower hose connection toward the water pump inlet, this really screwed up my alternator mount and shroud fit.
