What make/brand fan shroud are you guys with aluminum radiators using? Was the fit close or did you have to do a lot of cutting on the shroud? I've got a Griffin 19 x 26 universal fit aluminum rad and a new 66/67 BB shroud from Ground Up and it looks like I would have to do some major surgery on the shroud to get it to clear the lower outlet. Any ideas before I start cutting? I'm hoping there is better fitting shroud out there!

Jeff, I have the Griffin "universal fit" in my '67 with the same shroud. All I had to trim was a little bit from around where the lower hose fits. It really wasn't too big a deal, and it fits pretty well.

I use the '65 shroud on my Vette with a Griffin, stock shroud on my '69 with the P30 van radiator. Both fit without any change.

Jeff, I have a PRC aluminum radiator with a 66-67 BB shroud in my BB 65 Elky and the fit was pretty easy with minimal trimming. See the photo in my signature.

David_Bates,
I was thinking of getting the same shroud for my soon-to-be-purchased set-up. Could you tell me the distance between the 4 shroud attachment bolts (width and height).
Thanks in advance.

jlaf, I can answer your question. I have the same shroud thats not installed yet. Flange O.D. 27-9/16" w X 16-3/4" h, bolt pattern 26-9/16" w X 12-5/8" h, shroud depth 2-5/8", circular diameter 19-1/2" I.D.. Note the circular opening is offset up 1/2" and the bolt pattern is offset up 7/8" relative to the mounting flange. I got mine from Ground Up (per David Bates' suggestion), its application is 66-67 BB. If you need anymore info let me know.

Jeff,
Exactly what I was looking for. Thanks for the bonus of the shroud diameter. I had assumed 20" which means I'll have to be a little more accurate when mounting the 18" mechanical to keep it well centered.
Thanks again.
