ok everyone, here is another Q for you!! why is there a vacuum tank pictured in the asem book part #385076 it shows the vacuum line coming out of the fire wall going to the tank, then out to the intake port.. then other line of course goes to the heater valve on the intake..then there is another pic that just shows the vacuum feed going directly to the intake.. whitch is right? is there a late build and a early build , where they found they needed a tank? this A/C stuff is going too drive me nuts, i just want too make sure its right, and i keep seeing different setups in the asemb book. wow!! you all have been a great help , keep it coming..thanks

two lines come through the fire wall, black goes to back of tank.
black with white stripe goes to the hot water shut off valve on the intake manifold.
then there is a larger line that goes from the back of the intake manifold to the tank. this is used for two reasons.
first to shut off hot water going to the heater core when you put lever to a/c on.
second, it contols the vent doos for the heating and a/c.
all 71 with air came whit this.
