When I start my 72 El Camino I hear one of the vent doors open and once the truck warms up I get hot air flowing into the cab constantly. When I shut the truck off I hear the vent door close. I have located the three vacuum pods, but cannot tell which one may be the culprit. Vent door on passenger side appears to operate correctly when I select different positions on the AC/heater control even though it opens when the truck is started. Has anyone else experienced this problem? If so how did you reslove it?

I have a 72 Elky with A/C also. And I always have a slight bit of heat coming out. Mine might be doing the same thing as yours...but just never took notice to it. If it gets to hot in the tar/cruck ("Is it a car or a truck??" "It's a tar/cruck!!!") just do what I do....open your wing window!!! http://216.40.249.192/mysmilies/otn/wink/thumb.gif

That might work okay up in PA, but doesn't work very well in AZ especially in June, July and August. Thanks for the support :) <BLOCKQUOTE>quote:</font><HR>Originally posted by CHELKAMINO:
