Ok this is probably a dumb question but I don't know the answer! What's the difference betweeen a the two different pressure caps and which one do I want? I'm running a stewart pump on a 396 and an aluminum radiator.

Go for a 15-16 lb cap. 7 is way too low. rb6667

rb6667 is correct. Even tho your cap is on the suction side of the radiator system, with the high performance water pumps or higher thermostat operating choice can easily overcome the 7lb cap at high rpms.
A 16 should do ya fine and contrary to popular belief, will not cause your new rad or other parts no problems.
