I have one in the 71 and a custom made one in the 67, and they fit with no mods to the car or the radiator, what a concept.

Just don't try to find a lower hose for a 71 with A/C and the big radiator. All the after market whores and parts houses sell the same thing, different look and stripes but the same in the end.

I can't be the only one having this problem???

I have a Griffin in my Street Rod Pickup. My recommendation to you if you buy a Griffin is to go with the most radiator you can for your application. They sell different "levels" such as "Standard", "High Performance", etc. I am still working on cooling problems with that vehicle since I installed A/C last Spring. I wish now that I'd spent the extra $$ & went with the top of their line. Shop around as was suggested. I've heard good things about Be Cool, AFCO, & the brand on the link that HOTRODSRJ gives. Good Luck.

I've got a Universal fit Be Cool in my Monte Carlo and one in my v8 Fiero. They both work great and apear to be very well made. The one in the Monte couldn't fit any better, but in the Fiero it was a pain to install. I'm planning to put one in the El Camino as soon as I need a radiator.
