The wire control that runs the mixer - the bottom wire control with cold - hot, has bound up and will mot move. Does anyone have the correct part number, and where to get one? I've tried OPG and they don't have any of the control wires.

Our sponsor: Ground Up Restorations has all the heater/AC cable sets. Go to their web site: http://www.ss396.com and go the right side below Updates, click on the Catalog in Adobe Acrobat format, then select the chapter: p67_82.pdf and on page 13 you should see the cables that you need.

Hope this helps.

Actually, Ground Up does NOT have the wires for A/C equipped cars. So I'm still looking for a part number and/or location where I can get the Cool/HOT wire. The '70 (and I assume 71,72) only have two wires. The upper is for the selection, ac, max ac, vent, defrost, etc, and the bottom wire (the one I need) is the mixer for cool/hot
